NORTH GEAR and Bristol & District Cricket League sign sponsorship contract

Local cricket is to benefit from a fantastic new sponsorship deal with local company North Gear. The Bristol & District Cricket League has signed a 10 year deal with North Gear who will become its Official Kit Supplier. The deal is a further progression in North Gear's evolving sponsorship of local cricket having already signed a similar deal with the West of England Premier league in 2006.

Bristol & District League Chairman, Trevor Crouch said "We carefully studied the advantages of the North Gear sponsorship and decided that it opens up great opportunities for our clubs - We are delighted to have secured this long term relationship with North Gear and we expect every B & D club to help support this exciting partnership. We are certain that this new sponsorship scheme will help raise the profile of our League and its clubs. As well as supplying a great range of cricket playing wear, North Gear has provided a range of other good incentives for our clubs which in the short and long term will help them achieve greater financial stability. It is the start of a unique partnership with an outstanding cricket manufacturer that is both creative and visionary".
