North Gear signed its first official kit sponsorship agreement with Somerset County Cricket Club in 2004, and the comfort and durability of our clothing has contributed to their subsequent success.

We were particularly proud of Somerset's success in the 2005 Twenty20 cup. The team had put in strong performances throughout the competition and won the trophy by beating Lancashire in a thrilling day at the Oval - their very own Ashes.

A tremendous effort from the team and an astute strategy from Captain Graeme Smith won the day. Millions of viewers watched Somerset collect the cup wearing North Gear's stylish Twenty20 shirt with its round curves and American piping.

That day at the Oval put North Gear on the map of British Cricket and the quality of our cricket wear has since been acknowledged by many more County sides. As a result, North Gear has signed sponsorship agreements for 2006: we're delighted to be supplying Kent CCC

In a follow up to North Gear's Title Sponsorship with the West of England Premier League, North Gear has for 2007 entered into two new Official Kit Supply Sponsorship deal's with Bristol & District League as well as South Wales Cricket League.
